Annalise Constantz is a performer, dance maker, and teaching artist based in San Francisco. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Annalise has always been captivated by the magical, ephemeral nature of dance, as well as the healing power that physical embodiment holds.She graduated with honors from UC Santa Cruz, where she received a B.A. in Modern English Literature and a minor in Dance. She is a collaborator with the improvisational performance group, Big Plate Dance, and has performed in works by Gerald Casel, REYES Dance, Alex Law, Chloe Rosen, and Amelia Nommensen. Additionally, Annalise has presented her own work at Motion Pacific in Santa Cruz, SAFEhouse Arts in San Francisco, and experiments with other mediums including writing, visual art, and film.
