Elenna Nee has devoted 20 years to the study of a wide variety of dance forms ranging from Ballet and Contemporary to Brazilian, Cuban and Haitian folkloric techniques. She is enamored by the fierce and sensual urban styles originating in the African Diaspora and its sacred roots including Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Dancehall and House. She has performed at community dance events and professionally at private parties, festivals, and concerts. Elenna is a Marin resident, community event organizer and incoming student at CIIS’s Somatic Psychology program. Elenna is also the mother of 2 young kiddos who have been dancing with her since they were in the womb. She is excited to share her passion for dance, embodied movement and community building as a new teacher at RoCo.
