Jillian Penrod is a student at Archie Williams High School who began her dance training at two years old. She has been a member of RoCo Dance since the age of six and is currently training and performing with both BodyLanguage, and Synergy. As the co-artistic director of Synergy, under the mentorship of Jasen Valdez, Jillian has found a deep passion for leadership and creative collaboration. She loves working with her fellow dancers and instructors to develop choreography and loves the idea of supporting and inspiring RoCo’s next generation of dancers. Outside the studio, Jillian enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, listening to music, and going to the beach.

Sydney Gustke is a student at Redwood High School and a dedicated member and co-artistic director of RoCo’s youth hip hop company Synergy. Under the mentorship of Jasen Valdez, Sydney has passionately explored the world of hip hop, developing both her skills and love for dance. She is excited to work with RoCo’s younger dancers, in hopes to instill the same passion for dance that has shaped her own journey. Outside of dance, Sydney loves to bake, run, and spend time with friends and family.
