Sasha Gologorskaya, originally from Kiev, Ukraine, is a freelance dancer based in the Bay Area. Sasha trained at the San Francisco Ballet School as well as numerous intensive programs around the United States and abroad, including Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Arts Umbrella, and Springboard Danse Montreal.Sasha graduated summa cum laude and holds a BFA in Dance with a Concentration in Ballet Performance from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase. She has performed with the Menlowe Ballet and for the Brooklyn Academy of Music Next Wave Festival 2018 with a featured role in Luca Veggetti’s re-imagined version of Jerome Robbins’ Watermill. Sasha is currently working with choreographer Marika Brussel for the upcoming production of House of Names at ODC Theatre in San Francisco and is a dancer with em(body) dance project. In addition to dancing professionally, Sasha has enjoyed teaching for numerous studios around the San Francisco Bay Area as well as exploring her own choreographic voice.
