BRAZILIAN RHYTHMS & Silvestre Technique
This workshop weaves seamlessly through some of Brazil’s most loved cultural dance forms. We begin with The Silvestre Dance Technique and move into the African Roots and Folkloric fundamentals of Samba. Musicality and our connection to rhythm are central to Tika’s work with cultural dance. Incorporating the elements of nature from the sacred to the celebratory. Come tap into the joy of Brazilian dance.

SALSA FUSION & CUBAN RHYTHMS
This workshop is devoted to Tika’s love of Cuban and Latin Dance, Music, and Culture. Workshops start with body alignment, isolations, and technique moving across the floor. This is followed by choreographies that bring together popular and folkloric movement in combination with modern dance fundamentals & Salsa Suelta. Tika’s work offers a unique take on cultural dance that is a full body-mind experience for any dance background.
