T Jazz 4 with Sadie, Tuesday & Thursday 5:00-6:00pm

Commercial jazz combines aspects of hip hop, ballet and jazz and is often done to pop music. It has a strong emphasis on lines and isolations of the body. Commercial jazz has become popular due to exposure on television shows, movies, and music videos. To excel in jazz, dancers need a strong background in ballet, as it encourages core strength and placement.

Class pre-requisites:
Instructor approval is required for this class. Jazz 4 dancers are required to be simultaneously enrolled in a ballet class.

Dress Code:
Black leotard, tank top or t-shirt with tights or leggings and jazz shoes/foot undeez

Saturdays, 12:15-2:00pm

Performance Information:
This class will participate in our RoCo Alice Performance on June 6-8th at Angelico Hall, Dominican University in San Rafael.
